Gustavo Guerra

CEO

Civil Engineer with more than 25 years of experience in the international infrastructure market, Master’s in Business Administration and Specialist in Corporate Finance. He has developed his career executing mobility, transport, and road projects, among others, in Africa and Latin America. 

Mauricio Galvão

Deputy CEO

Civil Engineer with more than 20 years of experience in the operations, engineering and planning departments. He has been involved in the construction of large-scale projects in Latin America and Africa. He holds an MBA degree at ESADE, as well as an Extension Course at the University of Berkeley, California (USA).

Felipe Pereira

CFO

More than 20 years of experience in fnance and accounting departments, as well as in the management of sectors such as construction, mining, and food production. He has worked on international projects and holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration in the construction sector.

Celene Bezerra

Engineering and Planning Director

With more than 25 years of experience, Celene Bezerra is a Civil Engineer and Architect who, since 2008, has been working in the international area. She has carried out engineering and contract management work on infrastructure contracts in Libya and has managed large project budgets in the United Arab Emirates and Doha. She also holds a Master’s degree in Social and Environmental Responsibility.

Ingrid Matos

Chief Compliance Officer

Lawyer with more than 20 years of experience. She has been responsible for the ethics and compliance area of QGMI since 2016 implementing the Compliance Programme, of international scope, which has been certified with the ISO 37001 and UNE 19601 standards in June/2018. She also holds an LLM in Financial Law and an MBA degree (INSPER School). She attended the Risk Management Program at Harvard Business School and completed the Advanced Compliance Program at IE. Ingrid is a Certified Compliance Professional (CCEP-I) by SCCE-Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics (USA) and also by the International Compliance Association (ICA / UK).

Gustavo Corrêa

HSEQ-SR Corporate Manager

Environmental Engineer and Construction Technician with more than 23 years of experience in large-scale projects. He is in charge of the Quality, Health, Safety, Environment and Social Responsibility Area (HSEQ-SR), which has been certified with the ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards in 2018. He has worked on electromechanical construction and assembly projects in the oil sector, is specialised in quality and he is an auditor for ISO 9001, 14001 and ISO 45001 standards. He has wide international experience, and he has been working abroad since 2014.

Marcos Alexandre
Country Manager Ghana & Ivory Coast

Economist with more than 15 years of background in the infrastructure sector, he is leading QGMI’s business development in Ghana and Ivory Coast having contributed to the performance of a diverse projects’ portfolio which includes interchanges, roads, airport, among others. He also oversees ongoing expansion efforts into new emerging markets. Marcos holds an MBA degree from California State University – Fresno as well as Extension Programs in Finance and Strategic Negotiation from Harvard Business School and Cornell University.

Roberto Wagner

Country Manager Angola

Civil Engineer with more than 25 years of experience in the infrastructure sector. He has worked as an engineer and Project Manager in the construction of roads, transmission lines and civil construction works, among others. Roberto has wide international experience and he has been working in Angola since 2006.

Leandro Motta

Country Manager Uganda

Civil Engineer specialised in Business Management with more than 18 years of experience. He began his career as an engineer and Project Manager in the construction of roads, transmission lines and buildings, but for some years now, he has focused his work in the commercial area, overseeing the development of new business. He has vast international experience, mainly in the African market, working in countries such as Angola, Gabon, Kenya, Tanzania, Botswana, Ethiopia and Djibouti, among others.

Graduated in Foreign Trade with more than 20 years of experience in the infrastructure sector. For the past 14 years he has been heading Procurement for international constructions projects departments. He has wide international experience and he worked in countries such as Netherlands, Angola, Ghana and Sweden.

André Japiassu

QGMI Germany

Civil Engineer with double graduation in Business Administration. He has more than 12 years of experience as Head of Finance and Administration in infrastructure projects. He has vast international experience, working in countries such as Libya, Brazil, Ghana and Germany. He also holds an MBA degree at Fundação Getulio Vargas.

Gestão Integrada de Resíduos

Na QGMI, prevemos adotar uma abordagem integrada de gestão de resíduos, avaliando os seus diferentes fluxos e adotando uma abordagem para os gerir. Os nossos resíduos orgânicos são separados e tratados por compostagem, e o resultado final desta gestão dos resíduos orgânicos pode ser reutilizado nos nossos projetos de reflorestação.

Sistema de Controlo GPS

Utilizamos uma tecnologia GPS para aumentar a nossa produtividade nos processos de movimentação de terras e nivelamento. Este sistema de controlo permite que os operadores nivelem com maior precisão e rapidez, resultando numa maior produtividade, custos operacionais mais baixos e num trabalho bem feito.

SAE (Sistema de Apropriação Eletrónica)

O Sistema de Apropriação Eletrónica foi desenvolvido internamente pela equipa de TI, com o objetivo de monitorizar em tempo real o desenvolvimento das atividades e horas de trabalho dos colaboradores e das equipas, reduzindo o tempo de acesso aos indicadores de desempenho para a tomada de decisões estratégicas. O sistema, que está disponível em português, inglês e espanhol, funciona através de um smartphone através da leitura de códigos QR colados nos equipamentos e nas credenciais dos trabalhadores. Funciona mesmo quando não há Internet disponível, uma vez que os dados podem ser armazenados na memória do telefone e transferidos quando existe um sinal de rede Wi-Fi ou 4G. Melhora a gestão dos custos, o controlo da produtividade e contribui para a sustentabilidade ambiental.
